TAM Airlines’ Airbus A350 XWB lands in Madrid

Last night (2) at 11:12 PM BRT, an Airbus A350 XWB of TAM took off for the first time from Sao Paulo – Guarulhos Airport towards to Madrid – Barajas Airport, operating the flight JJ8064. The aircraft landed in Spanish’s lands at 01:40 PM CEST today (3). Following the tradition, it happened the water cannon salute in Adolfo Suárez Barajas Airport.

Tonight the airplane will take off at 11:35 PM CEST from Madrid to Sao Paulo, the flight JJ8065 is expected to land in Guarulhos Airport on next morning (4) at 05:25 AM BRT.

Up to the date, TAM Airlines has two Airbus A350 XWB on its fleet and it is waiting for the delivery of their third aircraft on the second half of May.

A partir do dia 7 de agosto, a Iberia traslada suas operações ao Terminal 3 do aeroporto de Guarulhos em São Paulo. É um terminal de nova construção, com uma extensão de cerca de 200.000 metros distribuídos em cinco andares, com capacidade para 12 milhões de passageiros e mais de 100 lojas.

A Iberia disporá no novo terminal de um escritório de passagens situado justamente em frente dos guichês de check-in. Foram atribuídos à companhia 7 guichês de atendimento, dois para os clientes Business e cinco para os clientes da classe turista.

No novo Terminal 3 do aeroporto de Guarulhos também se oferece fast track, um serviço que em São Paulo agiliza a passagem pelo controle de segurança para os clientes em cadeiras de rodas ou com outras necessidades especiais, como famílias que viajam com bebês.

Além disso, para seus clientes Business a Iberia oferecerá a sala VIP do aeroporto de São Paulo, até ocorrer a abertura da sala para as companhias da aliança oneworld no novo terminal.

O novo T3 de São Paulo dispõe de 26 portões de embarque dos quais 20 permitem o acesso ao avião através de passarela, o que agiliza consideravelmente o embarque.

A Iberia oferece até dois voos diários de São Paulo a Madri com horários que permitem as melhores conexões através do T4 do aeroporto de Madri, com cerca de 80 destinos na Europa, na África e no Oriente.

Iberia Moves to Terminal 3 at São Paulo’s Guarulhos Airport

On August 7 Iberia will move its operations to the new Terminal 3 building at Guarulhos airport in São Paulo. The building has an area of nearly 200,000 m3 on five levels, with an annual capacity for some 12 million passengers, and more than 100 shops.

Iberia will have a ticket counter directly facing the check-in islands, and seven check-in counters, including two for Business class passengers.

The new Terminal 3 at Guarulhos airport in São Paulo offers fast track security control procedures for passengers in wheelchairs, families flying with babies, etc.

In addition, Business class passengers may use the VIP lounge at the São Paulo airport until the new one for oneworld alliance airlines opens in the new air terminal.

The new T3 at São Paulo has 26 boarding gates, of which 20 allow easy boarding through passenger bridges

Iberia offer up to two daily flights between Madrid and São Paulo with good connections at Iberia’s T4 hub in Madrid from / to nearly 80 destinations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Starting this Sunday: Iberia will fly daily direct to Panama City

Starting on Sunday, 6 July, Iberia will offer daily return flights between Madrid and Panama City.

The Spanish airline will thus better connect its European destinations with Panama, one of Latin America’s most attractive and fastest-growing countries. Iberia is the sole airline to provide unbroken service to Panama since 1971.

The increase in flight frequencies will also help consolidate Iberia’s market leadership on routes between Europe and Central America, where the airline also flies direct from Madrid to Guatemala City, San José de Costa Rica and San Salvador, also offering good connections to Managua, Nicaragua and Tegucigalpa, Honduras, with local airlines.

Iberia uses Airbus A-330s and A-340/600s on its Panama route. The former are already equipped with newly-designed cabins, seats, and entertainment systems, and the latter are gradually being fitted with the new interiors.

The new Business section features seats that unfold into flat beds nearly two metres long, which are located in individual pods offering more space and privacy.

The configuration of the Business section lets passengers enjoy greater autonomy and privacy, and to work and relax in maximum comfort. All seats have direct access to the aisle.
