On 14 January 2016, Air France was awarded the “best first class available on flights between Greater China and Europe” prize. The Company was presented this award as part of the Hurun Best of the Best Awards.
This ceremony was organized in Shanghai by the Hurun Report, a monthly magazine dedicated to the luxury business market. In January each year, the event rewards the brands offering luxury services. These prizes are awarded on the basis of satisfaction surveys carried out by the Hurun Report with hundreds of wealthy Chinese people invited to vote for their favourite brands.
“This new award in China recognizes Air France’s ambition to offer its customers the best travel experience, driven by our product and services upmarket strategy. The new La Première suite is, among all our new offers, the one that demonstrates our commitment at the highest level to excellence and the French-style art of travel. Present in China for close to 80 years, the Air France-KLM Group has regularly developed its network and increased its services to constantly optimize connections between China and Europe, and more widely Asia to Europe” stated Patrick Alexandre, Executive Vice President Commercial Sales and Alliances Air France KLM.
Air France’s La Première – a designer suite
In the new La Première cabin, La Première guests each have a designer suite, ensuring optimum privacy. Air France has dressed each suite with thick curtains, held back with leather tiebacks. A unique and daring concept, they enable the passenger to decide whether to be totally isolated or just partially. In an instant, the La Première seat turns into a fully-flat bed over two metres long. When the guest is ready to go to sleep, the crew members place a mattress on the seat, for impeccable comfort. They then have a large fluffy pillow and a Sofitel MyBed® duvet. With the curtains closed, the partition raised and soft lighting, the suite embraces the passenger, for complete privacy. During the trip, each guest has a personal 24-inch (61cm) HD touch screen, one of the largest ever seen on board.
This winter, you can discover the new La Première suites on board the Boeing 777-300 equipped with the Company’s new travel cabins and serving Shanghai and Beijing in Greater China.
