The inaugural flight takes off on Sunday and will operate weekly to the Croatian city, which is one of largest in the country and boasts a mixture of nightlife, sightseeing and pristine beaches.
Holidaymakers travelling to the Croatian hot spot will fly on board brand new, 186-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft with free WiFi for all passengers.
“We are pleased to introduce another exciting new route from London Gatwick to help UK travellers enjoy quality, affordable flights to popular holiday destinations. Norwegian now offers direct flights from London Gatwick to 45 cities around the world.
“With a flight time of just over two hours and free WiFi throughout, passengers will arrive in Pula by lunchtime and can enjoy the vast array of beaches and cultural sites on offer on the Croatian coast,” said Thomas Ramdahl, Norwegian’s Chief Commercial Officer.
Last month, Norwegian announced it was expanding its long haul network from London Gatwick with the addition of Puerto Rico. Flights to the capital city of San Juan will launch in November with fares from £199 – amongst the cheapest ever to be offered between the UK and the Caribbean.
