Jakarta, a new Air France destination in South East Asia

On 9 July, Air France started operating a daily service to Jakarta, continuing on from Singapore. This service is operated at night on both the outbound and inbound flights to provide customers with optimum rest before their arrival at destination.

Flights to Jakarta are operated by Boeing 777-300, with 303 seats (8 in La Première, 67 in Business, 28 in Premium Economy and 200 in Economy).

This new destination is in addition to the KLM service which serves Jakarta daily on departure from Amsterdam-Schiphol, as a continuation of the Kuala Lumpur flight.

Flight schedules (in local time)

  • AF 254: Leaves Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 19:20, arrives in Singapore at 14:15 the following day. Leaves Singapore at 16:55, arrives in Jakarta at 17:35.
  • AF 259: Leaves Jakarta at 19:30, arrives in Singapore at 22:25. Leaves Singapore at 00:25, arrives at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 7:55.

In addition, travellers leaving from Singapore can now travel on Air France between Singapore and Jakarta or make an easy connection on KLM’s daily flight from Singapore to Denpasar in Bali.

Since 17 June 2014 and up to 30 August, Air France passengers have also been enjoying additional frequencies to Singapore. For the 2014 summer season, Air France is offering three additional services, operated by Boeing 777-200, between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Singapore, making a total of 10 weekly Air France flights.

  • AF 256: Leaves Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 23:20, arrives in Singapore at 18:30 the following day
  • AF 257: Leaves Singapore at 22:25, arrives at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 5:55 the following day

For the 2014 summer season, the Air France-KLM group offers 8 destinations in South East Asia on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol: Denpasar, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, Hanoi (on a code-share basis with Vietnam Airlines) and Ho Chi Minh City.
